snow in arinsal xmas week

I planning ski trip to Arinsal 22nd dec 2007

has anyone been during dec before? I want an idea on the weather for this resort if possible please

Was in Arinsal last Xmas in party of 10 varying in beginners to intermediate skiers.No snow in the village but with the snow machines enough for the beginners. Slightly limited the intermediates.

It didnt snow while there however had 7 days of sun.

Stayed in the Princesa Park Hotel and we had a brilliant time. Have booked to go back Easter 2008.

I was there last december. I agree with the last post.....

Last winter was the worst ever. Hopefully this year you will have plenty of snow....or not.... It´s a matter of luck. But you will always have artificial snow in case the real one delays its appearance.....

If you want any other advice let me know. I worked right in the capital last year, but my husband did work in Arinsal and also in Soldeu.

Hi there!

I have booked to go to Pas for New Year (w/c 30th Dec 07). Have skied before but fancy boarding this year, so will be beginners in this respect!

Could you advise - if there is no snow from now until new year, will the snow cannons (assuming it%26#39;s cold enough) provide enough coverage in the resort?
