Hi - we are currently staying in Mirepoix and are considering a day-trip by car to Andorra. Is it worth it - I understand the drive across the mountains is great but what is there to do in a few hours.
Thanks.

It%26#39;s a fair day out. A drive through the country (which is under deep snow much of winter). The main attraction this time of year is a long street selling duty free (tax free) stuff. Beware of customs on the way out.

Admire the fab scenery?
Hike up a mountain (or take a cable car/chairlift)?
Shop like crazy?
Go to the Spa%26#39;s at Escaldes-Engordanay??
Go mountain biking??

so if there are customs on the way out, what can you take out in the way of cigarettes, wine, etc?.
