Passports

Hi folks,

We%26#39;re thinking of taking a day trip from Carcassone to Andorra. (We%26#39;re in the Carcassonne area at the moment and will be for the next 3 days)

Are there border controls and do we need to bring our passports?

We hold Irish Passports.

Are there border controls - There is a border post and all traffic filters through single file. You may be stopped, but it is unlikely

Do we need to bring our passports - Yes, Andorra is not a full member of the EU. Customs rules are strict so although you can by huge bottles of alcohol you can%26#39;t take them out of the place.
