I read on some website that there is no way to obtain a discount on the Grand Valira ski pass region... but I have just found this to be incorrect. You can head over to IfYouSki.com and they offer a 6% saving on lift passes- on a family of 4 that is as much as £40 saving.
Also, you can save more if you call them and book any skiing lessons or ski hire through them- our discount was a further 5% on the order, meaning a saving of over £70.
