Drink prices

Hi.

Due to the rubbish exchange rate for the € we are trying to work out how much money we will need for our trip to Arinsal.

How much are the drinks in the local bars? We will be drinking either vodka %26amp; mixer or pints of the local lager.

I am going for the 4th time on march 22 and from previous trips we have found the drinks are never that cheap in bars last year a vodka and coke was about 4 euros, I was told this was due to very high rents charged by landlords.

the best thing is to get drinks from the supermarkets and have a few before you go out as they are very cheap, bottle of wine 3-4 euros, smirnoff 1ltr about 6-8 euros.

If you do drink in bars when they reconise your face you tend to get free shots, I have found Quo Vadis and the Derby a good night out.

Arinsal is brilliant though

Hi

Just got back from Arinsal. Drinks are not too bad - between 2-4 euros dependong where you are.

It%26#39;s the food you%26#39;ll need a bank loan for! We ate out evenings %26amp; self catered the rest of the day %26amp; we were spending £100 - £140 a day on it.

Take as much in the way of your own stuff that you can. In the local supermarkets you%26#39;ll pay through the nose for basic toiletries etc.

Good holiday though.
