Frontera Blanc

Hi all!!!

I%26#39;m staying at the Frontera Blanc in Feb, any feedback would be good.

Hi Katgar, we stayed at the frontera,Rooms are reasonably spacious (we had the ones that sleeps 4-6) They are clean and warm, basic but it has all you need. The kitchenette is just that, a microwave and just 2 electric rings (would have been better if we had a cooker but we managed by making soups and pasta dishes. My only bugbear is that you have to leave 200 euros deposit and dont get it back until your last day (wont accept a credit card had to be cash) so we ended up bring most of it home with us and with the exchange rate being so poor would have lost alot of money if we changed it back (we kept it for next time)

the apartments are in fantastic location, just opposite the slopes. We didnt bother with lockers as we were so near and you are allowed to take skis back to your room (a lot of apartments dont permit this) We didnt really use any of the facilities (other than the kids using the games rooms) so cant really comment.

There not luxury (but u know that anyway) but as you spend most of your time on the slopes anyway they are fine. For what it cost as opposed to other places I would reccomend them

We booked through Inghams, wouldnt recommend them though. I had a nightmare booking ski extras (it was for a party of 14 but even so it wasnt rocket science) they totally cocked up all our ski vouchers and after many phonecalls before we went to try and sort it out (eventually i thought it was) when we arrived they were still wrong and took all monday morning to put right. Not good for such a big company that is suppose to specialise in ski holidays!! That first morning was very stressful, especially when youve got a 9 year old that just wants to get on the slopes and go skiing, and doesnt take no for an answer.

Never had any problems with the frontera apartments though, you will have a great time.
