Hi all I have a question about the ski pass in Andorra is it the old style that you wear and someone opens the gate for you to get on the chair lift or is it the one that you put in your pocket and the gates to the chair lift open automatic.
Should i take my arm ski holder will i need it ???
what are the prices for a 5 day pass and has anyone had lessons out there ??

Hi nKicks
All the lifts operate automatic through the lift pass which i had in my left arm pocket. As for lift pass prices i think were between £147 ( 155 euro ) low season and £165 ( 175 euro ) high season. We dropped on as we got our lift passes fromour tour operators with a 2 for 1 offer. Also i hav,nt had lessons out there but everyone i saw was enjoying themselves.......
Dont know if you do apres ski but with the beer not being the cheapist we found many happy hour bars to help that budget.. from 4pm till 6pm we went to the iceberg bar where it was 2-4-1 drinks, then off to the picadilly bar (sport hotel) 6pm-7pm half price drinks, 7pm-8pm villager (sport hotel village) 2-4-1 drinks then have some food and back to the villager 9pm-10pm. then bed for some early morning ski....
All in all a fantastic resort great snow conditions and i hope you have a great time.
ps me and my partner r thinking of going to the canarys whats food and drink prices like
thanks

Our family have had group lessons in ski school (Mon-Fri) and enjoyed it. This year we hired a private instructor and payed about 240euros for 6 hours of tuition spread over the week. It was great.
