Myself and 3 friends are going on 20th jan 08 for 7 nights, its are first time in andorra skiing and were just wondering how dressy is it in the evenings in bars and nightclubs and also how cold is it down in the town? how expensive is it for food and drink?

Hi ski8,
Regarding dress code - If you%26#39;re male or female......... Male - Shirt/t-shirt, jeans and boots. Female nice t-shirt/top, you%26#39;re going out jeans and sensible footwear!! You can wear you%26#39;re ski jacket to the clubs, you%26#39;ll be taling it off when you get there. I%26#39;m not sure how much it is to eat out as I%26#39;ve always been half board. The cafe%26#39;s/restaurants up the slopes are usually expensive. We usually had a drink before we went out for the night, off-licences are cheap. We ended up in a club last year in Pas where the shots for females were free!! From memory the clubs/bars are not overly expensive but it may have changed from last year. Hope this helps, enjoy you%26#39;re holiday, we head out a week later on the 27th to Pas, can%26#39;t wait.........

Hi we%26#39;ve been going to Pas de La Casa for several years now, found the best option is half board although we always have one meal out at night as half board can get monotonous, prices are average again depends where you eat, obviously prices on the slopes are quite high ( captive audience) we usually opt for the hot sandwiches and the chips...
Check jahooweather for temperatures it can get very cold out at night, we usually live in cords/jeans, sweaters and snowboots and use our ski jackets, best to wear layers then you can always remove nothing worse then feeling cold!
This year we are having a change and going to Livigno in Italy..

Depends on where your staying and how far the walk will be, I usually wear jeans and waterproof boots/trainers, a hoody or warm shirt, a warm jacket or my ski jacket and a hat. It gets cold at night about-5 but you%26#39;re only walking about 30 seconds between bars so its not bad, as soon as you get inside a bar or resteraunt its boiling so you have to take your jacket off anyway. The food and drink is reasonable over there, try the rib shack for food its ace. Alcohol in the supermarkets is unbelievably cheap, you can get a bottle of Vodka for about three quid, my advise is to have a few before you go out and you%26#39;re garaunteed a cheap night. Going myself on 3rd of Feb see you there.
