December Snow

Hi,

I%26#39;m planning on going to Arinsal over christmas and was wondering if anyones been at this time of year and what the snow was like? I don%26#39;t want to fork out to head for the snow and there not to be any!

You can ski in Arinsal (in fact all of Andorra%26#39;s alpine resorts) from the 1st weekend in December. There is always skiing at Christmas time so don%26#39;t worry about that...

Historic weather information is often flawed due to 3rd or 4th hand weather reports and heaven forbid, that certain operators might bias these reports anyway to sell certain weeks in certain places! Sorry but a sceptic! I can%26#39;t remember Arinsal being closed in December due to lack of snow and I%26#39;ve lived here for ages.

Hi,

Is there any snow yet in Arinsal? Arinsal.com says that there is, however the web cam is showing a far too green looking shot!

Am going Jan 7-14th - should there be good snow by then? It%26#39;s my hubby%26#39;s first time skiing, and I%26#39;ve not been for 5 years, so will be gutted if there%26#39;s no snow!

There hasn%26#39;t been any there yet. A dusting on the top slopes is forecast for Tuesday night. Snow on the Alps was 2 weeks late this year.

Arinsal.com shows last snow fall as 20-3-2006 and the snow report page was last updated on 21-04-2006
