What are you paying for the week? You sharing a room or not?

i stayed in hotel chez paulo this christmas. it was my first skiing holiday and had read a pretty bad review about the place on this site. however it exceeded all expectations. the rooms are clean, with tv, really comfy and cosy. the food was lovely, especially the soup, which was homemade and just the sort of comfort food that is needed after a day up on the slopes.
all the staff were friendly and helpful (apart from the strange night porter who was supposed to give us breakfast on our early check out but looked at us funny instead). the fact that they speak english is a bonus as many of the people we met staying in other hotels found it impossible to communicate with the hotel staff.
our room was on the first floor, and had a lovely view of the mountains and the church. think it was room 16. bathroom was small, compact, but always had fresh towels and toiletries. ive stayed in 4* hotels in the past, and the hotel cleaning here was far superior in terms of its attention to detail.
everything in pas de la casa is within easy walking distance of the hotel, whats great about it is that its so central, and youre located in the heart of everything, without there being noise late at night.
My boyfriend and i had the best holiday ever there. we%26#39;re even planning on going back again next christmas. definately to the chez paulo.
hope you enjoy staying there as much as we did..
