Xalet. Whats the deal??

Have booked Hotel Xalet (Crystal) going 12th March.

Mixed reports on it, has anyone just got back? How was the food?

Whats the easiest way to the slopes from the chalet, cant walk too well, how far to chair lifts? or should I get bus into soldeu? Does anyone know which would involve the least walking.

Or any other info that would put my mind at rest would be good.

Hi

just got back on sunday n stayed at the xalet. Food was good, staff excellent. Takes about 5 mins to get to ski lift so would advice storing skis at the bottom of these (about 20meters from lift). The ski conditions were excellent whilst I was there and was impressed with the number of pistes available. I had an excellent stay there and would thoroughly recommend it to people. Say Hi to Fabri (manager) and Steve when you go next week.

Much happier now, we dont expect 5* but it wasnt looking good from the reports. Now we%26#39;re relly looking forward to going.
