We are going to Arinsal in Feb 07 4 adults 4 kids and have never skied beforeand staying at the princesa park. Are we best to book ski lesson in the uk or when we get there. Would we better to have a group lesson altogether Is it advisable to try the dry slopes first??
Can anyone recommend any instructors out there?

General answer for first time skiers
Book the group lessons with your tour company. You will be moved around groups as you progress at different rates. If you have private lessons you will be held back to the slowest skier which may frustrate the kids (as they are bound to be better than the adults). Private lessons cost around 30€ an hour and you need to book as soon as you get to the resort if you want a block booking.
I have never been a fan of dry slopes, but a day at an indoor slope (Milton Keynes is probably your nearest) will be worth the money - get used to the clothes etc.
