Is it worth overnighting in Andorra during a whirlwind summer driving tour of Europe or should we motor on to Barcelona?

We have been to Andorra twice. You can drive through in a few hours. If you rally want to see the true beauty of the County stay out of the City of Andorra. We spent 2 days in Ordino and it was beautiful.

If you%26#39;re skiing or snowboarding, the resort of Grand Valira (and all the surrounding resort villages) are the best I%26#39;ve ever seen. Canillo is particularly quaint, and even once the snow is melted you can ride the gondollas up to the top for spectacular views. I recommed the Hotel Font D%26#39;Argent in Canillo for good ski packages at reasonable rates. The free turkish bath, sauna, food provisions and bar are great too.

We are staying overnight and getting a agreat price for the hotel during the slow summer time season. I hope we did not make a mistake by staying there? We are staying at the Hesperia Andorra.
