Driving from Tolouse to Soldeu and worried in Jan.any tips?

I am driving from Tolouse airport to Soldeu on Jan 14th at 6pm! I am concerned that i will have difficulties. We have ordered snow tracks and have sat nav but are there any other tips that anyone can offer?

Many Thanks

Just take it easy and research as much as you can. The sat nav should help you. Keep a look out and take a phrase book in case you have to speak to local road assistants.

When I went in January 15th ish 2004 we had to turn back and go via Spain due to an Avalanche on one of the roads!

Think they have a massive road tunnel through a mountain now that cuts the driving time down from 3/4 hours.

The tunnel into Andorra is expensive as tolls go. Can%26#39;t remember the exact cost, but at least you can pay by credit card unlike the UK.

We drove last January (but from Gerona to El Tarter) and didn%26#39;t have any problems. We used sat nav. The only thing that happened was that we got stopped on the way (we were driving in the middle of the night as landed at 11pm) by the local police as we had our full beam on driving through the mountains - you%26#39;re not supposed to do this, even though there was no-one else on the road! We were thinking about snow trains but decided not to bother - you can buy these from petrol stations on the way if you need them. We didn%26#39;t need them at all.
