ski lessons

hi, just wondering does any one know the duration of the beginner ski classes in Arinsal and what times do they begin, afternoon or morning? I booked for one week from Feb 10th with Directski.com

Hi, was at Arinsal last Xmas with another operator and all lessons were a.m however it would appear it depends on which operator you travel with.Stayed in Princesa Parc and had a ball.

We are returning in March 08 (group of 10) as we had such a good time.

Enjoy.

Tip - Hire a ski locker at top of Gondola which will save you carrying your skis up and down each day.

IrishC, it does not matter which operator you have booked with because all operators use the same ski school on the nursery slope. The important thing is to get to the ski school registration point on the first day with your ski school voucher and book the morning session. The registration point will be a building very near the top of the gondola. Make sure you organise to hire your skis and boots on the evening before you go to ski school. If you cannot do this you might not get your choice of ski school time.

I agree that it is best to hire a locker near the gondola. My locker was a very difficult and sore 10 minute walk from the gondola and one I would not repeat on my next ski holiday.

I meant to add that the ski school duration is 3 hours. On day one they give you a 60 minute break, but on subsequent days the break is only 20 or 30 minutes at most and some days there is no break depending on where the instructor has taken you.
