We plan to visit Soldeu at the end of March 2008 for a skiing holiday. Can anybody advise on what snow conditions to expect, also given the reportedly good snowfalls they had upto now?

The present snow levels are 20cm lower 40cm upper, not too good.
The average for this time is 91cm upper 48cm lower.
The average for the 3rd week in march is 126 upper 117 lower, and the forthe week 68 upper 59 lower.
( The above is from historic snow reports on ski club site )

It varies a lot from year to year, obviously, but I was there in March two years ago, and it was a fairly okay year if I remember correctly. The snow was slushy, but there definitely weren%26#39;t bare spots on the slopes.

But this year is much better than last year. The Pyrenees are not a place to go if you want guaranteed snow at the beginning or end of the season.

True, but the figures posted are the average levels taken over the past 15 years.
