Princesa parc arinsal

Hello all

My wife, myself and 9 year old son are thinking of staying at the Princesa Parc hotel in Arinsal in Feb. Can anybody tell me please if this is suitable for my son. I know there are bowling alleys etc but are kids allowed into the bar and is it suitable for him. We like a drink and a bit of fun but only if it doesnt affect him!!

Any other thoughts on this hotel

The Princesa Parc is an excellent hotel and your 9 year old will love it.

Apart from the bowling alley, there is snooker and pool, table football, air hockey, driving games, internet, and loads more stuff for kids of all ages.

The only thing he may want to do, but can%26#39;t, is use the spa. At £10 a go, you may decide that a pint and a game of air hockey with your son is more relaxing than whateve the spa could offer.

The hotel bar is part of the reception area so kids are welcome. There is a bar in the games area, so why not have a pint while he%26#39;s entertaining himself?

Once he gets on the slope, however, he%26#39;ll not want to be messing around in the hotel!

Thanks

Sounds ideal, ski, beer and a happy lad!!

Hi just back after spending 24 Dec to 30 Dec 06 at the Princesa Park with family group of 10 . You will really enjoy it. Really recommend the spa for massage etc. Children from 6 yrs to 17 yrs in our party were all catered for. Your 9 yr old will have a ball. After skiing all day he will want to go to bed at 8 oclock anyway.

Tip - get a locker at the top of the gondola so you do not have to carry equipment up and down every day.

Have a good time.

Just back from a 7 nites stay in the Princesa Parc. My son is 6 and there were other kids in our party ages 12 and 14 - all of whom had plenty to do in the hotel. It is v family orientated and very relaxed - exactly want you need after a days skiing.

I couldnt complain about anything.

Enjoy - I am sure you will!

Hello Plydude!

I live in Plymouth as well and returned from Arinsal (Princesa Parc) on 7.1.07. We had a great time but I didn%26#39;t personally think that they catered particularly well for children. If your son is happy to go downstairs (as our girls were) to the football table / bowling alley, etc, that is fine. However (see my review), families were asked discreetly to eat at the earlier sitting (hence unable to make the most of happy hour!). Children are allowed in the lounge area but we didn%26#39;t go anywhere else so unsure about Bogarde%26#39;s Bar. Am sure food will be fine, big choice and very mixed - some nights they had chicken nuggets and chips (amongst other things), however, my daughter got a surprise one night as what she thought was chicken nuggets was actually breaded oysters!!

Make sure he has something to do on the transfer, it is not fun!

Hope you get more snow than we did, but if you don%26#39;t, their cannons are EXCELLENT and you would never have known it wasn%26#39;t real!!

ENJOY

Many thanks for that

I think its snowing now so lets hope
