I really think you would be pushing it for a day trip, better if you find somewhere in Barcelona to stay overnight.

Barcelona Airport to Andorra takes between 2.5 and 3 hours. There are at least 2 toll roads/tunnels to pass through. When you get to BCN you will then have to find somewhere to park. That is likely to be someway from the main town.

You could do it in a day, but it will be long and tiring.

Much though i like Andorra (last visit Easter), I have to ask why you want to go on a day trip from Barcelona?

On a trip from toulouse to barcelona and someone needs dropped off at B early, so we thought we might backtrack as we do not have time on the regular trip.

Ah, makes more sense now! We%26#39;ve been from Carcassone through Andorra into Catalonia for similar reasons (hubby hates coming back the way he came and much prefers to explore when time allows). Had a wonderful wander but it took much longer all in all than we had planned. It was dark when we got back even though it was summer. But what the heck, we didn%26#39;t have to get up early the following day
