Hi, we%26#39;re staying at the Princesa Park for a week at the end of January, has anyone else stayed there who could let us know what we%26#39;re in for. Obviously all the brochures say it%26#39;s great but you never can tell. It%26#39;s our first trip to Arinsal and wondered if the hotel was pretty central and whats good to do in the evenings. Ta

Hi,
From what i hear it is an excellent hotel!
we are travelling the end of Jan ( 23rd to 31st )
and staying in the Princessa Park! its our first time skiing also!

We were in Arinsal last year, in another hotel. People we met said the Princesa Park was great. The food certainly sounded a lot better than what we had in our hotel last year. This year we%26#39;re going to the PP - last week of Jan too!
Night life all seems to pretty loud and late. Last year was our first time skiing and, to be honest, we were beat by about 10 every night! One place we went to loads was Molly%26#39;s, an Italian restaurant at the foot of the lifts. It%26#39;s great!
The hotel is pretty central. No more than 4/5 mins from the main lifts - longer on the way home %26#39;cos you%26#39;ve got to stop at The Cyber Cafe (I think) who do greet hot chocolate with brandy!

Simps
Stayed there twice. Rooms are basic twins, clean and adequate. Whatever you do, request a high floor as there is an extremely noisy bar on the ground floor with music that can be heard 2 floors up(Resident band is called %26quot;Noise R Us !). Drove us mad the 1st year. The second year we made sure we were higher !!! Then again, the other alternative is - if you can%26#39;t beat them, join them (Our answer on year one). The hangover cure is to bury your head in the snow the morning after (but never ever yellow snow !!! ).
The food is excellent - buffet style and good quality. About 3 mins (downhill) walk to the gondola. Make sure you get there before the ski bus at 8.45am to avoid the q %26#39;s. Otherwise around 10 is good (Depends on time of ski class).
Slopes can get busy in Arinsal - If you can, get to Pal, skiing is much better. The ski school in Arinsal is excellent with quick progession. If we didn%26#39;t like it, we wouldn%26#39;t have gone back, so enjoy.

was at the princessa park 4yrs ago, it was a fantastic hotel, robes provided to go down to the pool. Bar with entertainment certain days and open till late and another bar just to chill out in.Fantastic meals which will appeal to everyone, even an ice sculpture as you entered the dining room different every day.You are 2 mins walk from the main gondola and great apres ski bars are also close by.All in all
was a excellent hotel with great facillities and my honest opinion is i%26#39;d give it 5/5.Hope u have a great time (im sure you will).

I KNOW one is not supposed to post %26#39;heresay%26#39; so I am pushing it - but here goes.
THIS summer, one of my work colleagues stayed at this Hotel for a walking-in-the-mountains holiday. She came back saying how great it was, and was well pleased with the hotel, the food, the staff etc.
A few years ago the son of my then significant other stayed at this Hotel with a group of his friends for a Ski holiday - it had only then just been built, and he came back saying how fab it was, with beautiful rooms, marbled halls, great spa etc, etc.
So that is 2 out of 2 for great!!! - hope that helps (if it is allowed!!!!!!!!!)
