Goggles or Glasses

Hi everybody

Im going to Arinsal on 24th Feb and was wondering if i should invest in goggles, glasses or both...

I heard mixed opinions from people..

Any advice would be appreciated

i personally prefer glasses as they tend to give me better all round vision and i am only a low intermediate so it is possibly a confidence issue.i did invest in a decent pair of googles but they tend to sit on the top of my hat trying to at least look the part!!!

Glasses are OK if the weather is OK (and are what I wear most of the time for skiing)

BUT if you have lots of snowfalls, howling wind, gales and bizzards, then glasses will not be sufficient. You should always carry goggles with you just in case, even if you find you don%26#39;t need to use them much. To be up on the mountains, where the weather can change very quickly, without any goggles, frankly is dangerous.

Cheers for the advice.

I%26#39;ll get both.

Thanks a million!

You are welcome galaxy02

Last year I finally retired my much repaired, treasured, brilliant 40 year old pair of Cebe, often fallen upon, much laughed at, pair of goggles. I invested in a new set (Cebe again) but quel cher!

Acutally I did not get the opportunity to %26#39;christen%26#39; my new gogs when on the slopes as had good weather on last year%26#39;s trip, BUT I was in a blizzard the previous year, and sure was glad of the old ones!!!!
