I%26#39;m driving from gerona to Soldeu on the 11th of January. Is it easy enough to buy snow chains from a supermarket on the way up to andorra, or would i be better having them before i leave GB?

Not much point getting them in the UK as you won%26#39;t be able to guarantee the car and therefore wheel size before you pick it up.
The car hire desks at Girona do have chains, but I am not sure if you rent them or have to buy them. I now have my own, but haven%26#39;t needed to use them for several years. Fortunately, Ryanair have never weighed my carry on bag complete with heavy chains.
