HI,
Is it best/cheaper to book lessons in resort on arrival or to pre-book through travel agent before leaving? We are a family of 6.
Thanks, M

Try comparing prices, but I would think it would be better directly through the resort.

If you%26#39;re a family of 6, have you considered hiring a ski instructor dedicated to your group - would probably not work out too much different in price than putting everyone in ski school, but you could all enjoy the ski experience together?

Here are the lesson and lift prices if you book with the resort.
You will know the price you travel agent is offering. The advantages are
direct - smaller class, normal tour classes are 12
Tour - able to change levels as you progress - probably cheaper, no hassle finding your group, lessons will be timed to fit in with hotel meals, more likely to get English speaking instructor
Disadvantages
direct - have to stay at the level of the weakest skier

Another advantage of buying through your TA - you won%26#39;t waste 2 - 3 hours on the first day booking lessons.
