Hi, looking to book a week to Arinsal in January 2008 :-)
1) Which is the best week in january?
2) Will there be plenty of snow in January?
3) How long is the transfer from Toulouse?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello snow daisy
The transfer from Toulouse is about 4 hours, with a half-way stop that most of the main ski companies use.
The past few years, snow in Andorra has not been very good in January, %26#39;tho Mr Cellophane is the best %26#39;authority%26#39; on this aspect.
(Some special advice just for you - don%26#39;t book with Inghams!!!!!!!!)

Not sure I am an %26quot;authority%26quot; on snow in Andorra. We go to Les Angles, which is about an hours drive away. However, it is at the same altitude and therefore snow forecasts are much the same.
4 hours seems a long time for the transfer, you can drive it in about 2. But then buses can%26#39;t go a fast as a car on the mountain passes.
Snow in January - not much this year. So you will have to take a chance whether it was a one off or long term trend. Looking a past falls, it was a one off and 2008 should be fine. What ever the real falls, the resort teams are expert at preparing well groomed pistes from the snow cannons. So when chosing your resort, look for the one with cannons on slopes which match your level.

Thanks for the advice and help
