Trust me there is no snow here only what the cannons are pumping out and thats limited.
|||
From the figures I posted, it would appear that bad snow goes in 3 year cycles and that is borne out this year.
|||
Looks like the snow is coming next week. - Wednesday %26amp; Thursday

Hope so for the people out there, we were hearing that while we wwere there but to no avail manyana..

a large group of us are heading out to pas on jan 28th, i have been following the snow forecasts and am a little worried about the lack of snow. Those in the know are probably gettting a little fed up with all the %26#39;%26#39;where%26#39;s the damn snow%26#39;%26#39; posts, but is there anyone who could tell me what the slopes are like at the moment? I understand that they have been working hard to keep em open with the snow cannons, and im thinking if it is looking unlikely that there will be a decient dump before we go would it be worth looking at going somewhere else? we all want to go pas but not to keen boarding on ice. any help or info would be great.

Hi i went to pas on JAn 15th last year and there was 80cms of snow at top and 30cms at the bottom.
However i am going back this year as it was so good last year with the night life and the amount of slope on the 21st of Jan.
Lokking at the many sites at the momen tit really is not looking good with only 15cms at top and 10m at the bottom, also many reports are saying its just pure ICE and no snow which is not good news, and to make matters worse if you are staying in PAS you are unable to ski over to Soldu and the other resorts as the main rum out of PAS is closed also the only runs open in PAS are three blue runs and the main red run is partually open.
Also speak to a friend thats working over there if it dosent snow soon then pas will be closing all runs as its too ice and dangerious to ski or board also if your taking your own gear it will et recked.
Im really gutted and i am so hoping it will snow soon, as if not we will all be stuck in a resort where the only thing to do is to drink alchool.

Hi all,
Have just arrived home from pas after a new year break.. No snow other than the cannon sort I%26#39;m afraid! Took a ski away day to pal and conditions are much better. Pas is very icy, all of the main red was open but all linking slopes to other resorts remained shut. Top of red should have been closed, not boarder friendly.. most of us sat wondering quite how to get down it in one piece??!!
Lots of bruises but nothing the apres ski couldn%26#39;t sort out! Not sure of forecasts but 1st to 7th of jan was very dry on the snow front! :-(
