Was thinking of going early December about the 10th.What is the snow like at this time?

Last year 2006/7 non-existant.
That week is still very early for Andorra. Christmas week is only just in the normal season. If you want to ski that early, the USA/Canada or some Alpine resorts are your only guaranteed option.

I know this is impossible to predict, but...I remember the season started really late last year. What was it like around the first week of January? Is it worth risking it for next year?

2006/7 in the Pyrenees was fairly warm and dry until the middle of February. There was another huge dump at the end of Feb and then the season went on longer than normal.
However, looking a historic data, bad years come in 3 year cycles and one was due.

hi , we went new years eve last year to pas and there was not much snow, but the year before there was loads at the same time. so its pot luck i guess, but pas is a great place so u will enjoy it we are a family of 4 so there is loads to do for familys and young uns.
