Old f@rt - snowboarder. PAS too lively??!!

Have seen some awesome deals for PAS in march. Will it be too lively/raucous for 2x mid thiry snowboarders do you think?? Is Soldeu quieter?

We went to italy for NY and it was waaaay too quiet. I want somewhere for beers and food but I%26#39;m imagining PAS to be a bit like Ibiza with snow. TELL ME IM WRONG!!!

The answer will depend on what bars you go to. Its a few years from when I last went there, but the range of bars and clubs meant there was something for everyone%26#39;s taste/mood/stamina, from families with young children to early twenties looking to party all night.

I%26#39;m a 45 year old boarder and will be looking for the liveliest Funky House playing bars and clubs, so you certainly won%26#39;t be the oldest OF out there ;-)

Ha Ha! Thanks for that. Couldnt resist the deals - have booked and raring to go. Just need to pray for snow now :-)

I never would have thought to describe it as Ibiza with snow. I think there is something for everyone. I wouldn%26#39;t worry. Hope it snows for you!!

i was in pas in feb with my family.42,39 and 17.had a great time and something for everyone.paddys bar is great for a beer and all the sport.pas 83 near the bottom of the slopes is great for a drink straight off the slopes and the dj plays great old skool during happy hour.at night you can try milwaukees but its more a case of trying out a few bars to see what suits your mood

Update! I had a great time! What a great relaxed atmosphere across the whole of the resort. Great slopes and top value for money. I%26#39;d go again in a shot......

Good stuff Macca.

I%26#39;m going this weekend (30th) and am looking at the webcams, all showing huge dumps of snow, with more forecast for every day this week.

I can%26#39;t wait :-)

Got back yesterday and we had, according to the lift workers and reps, the best snow of the season. It dumped 20cm of the finest powder on Sunday night and snowed on and off all day Mon. The slopes were completely empty on Monday and we made fresh tracks almost everywhere we went. Only blue runs had been pisted so conditions were perfect for fast cruising on the blues or blasting through boot deep powder on reds.

From Tuesday onwards the sun was out all day every day and I was worried it would all melt. It didn%26#39;t and the snow held good all week, although early mornings were icy on the west facing slopes.

Llac Negre was a great hotel. Really good atmosphere, fantastic food and warm rooms with beds made and the whole thing spotlessly cleaned every day. 200m from the slopes and only 100m from the leisure centre too so great for apres ski turkish baths and jacuzzis.

Big thanks to hotel owner Pat, First Choice rep George, hotel bar man Amir, locker man Mario and our great hotel chef, whose name I have forgotten.

It was a perfect boarding holiday with a wild night in Underground to round it off on the Friday night.

Hotel and resort thoroughly recommended.
