Anyone has any idea if there is any Indian population in Andorra ?
|||
curious as to WHY you want/need to know this??
|||
Its all related to arranging indian grocery/food.
I am supposed to travel to Andorra for work ( for the first time ) and have come to know that it is very small place. I am afraid that due to work load I will not be able to travel to Barcelona frequently...
hence just wanted to check if there is any Indian population to have an idea that Indian grocery/food might be available in the principality.

I can%26#39;t say that I have noticed any Indian people on my visits to Andorra I%26#39;m afraid. Also in the %26#39;resort%26#39; towns the supermarkets are quite small, and thus the range of goods they carry are also small. BUT I do seem to remember a reasonably good range of herbs %26amp; spices available, if that helps.
IF you can speak/understand Spanish or Catalan, this site might help:

And here are some more general sites which MAYbe of use:

It is possible, I suspect, that if you contact the Tourism Office of Andorra, they may be able to help you.
Good luck in your Quest, and enjoy your stay in Andorra, the Mountains are beautiful.

Yes. There is some Indian population, mainly in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes, which are the most commercial areas.
Indian trade has been very popular in Andorra during many years, and they are totally integrated in the country.
Also, at the main department store, Pyrenees, there is a huge supermarket with all kinds of food.

According to the statistical office of Andorra, there are living 125 Indians in Andorra (date: 2006).
