A group of us have booked to stay at the hotel Euro Esqui in Soldeu at the beginning of Feb 2008. We are taking our son, who will be just 3 and has never even seen snow, let alone skied! I would like to get him into a nursery, which does stuff like playing in the snow and toboganning etc. Does anyone have any information about these.? Also, as the hotel is mid-way between Soldeu and El Tarter if there was a choice of childcare in each, which would be the best to go to, seeing as I would be dropping him off and then going skiing (I have only been once before, so would be going to the easy slopes!).
Does anyone know if it is best to book beforehand, or wait until I get there - I%26#39;m just worried that they might be booked up, then we%26#39;ll be stuck.
Any advice anyone can give would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
The hotel runs a minibus to the eltarter slopes. at the top of the ski lift, to your right had side is the ski school and nursery area.
There are a couple of options, there is an indoor creche, and there is the penguin club which offers a combination of ski lessons in a very safe and fun childrens area and indoor child care.
My son has been in ski school at el tarter twice and we found that the service was superb.
You can find all the info you need on the grandvalira.com website, you may be able to book in andvance but we just went to the office on the first day of our holidays and booked in with no problems.
El terter is a better option than soldeu for the childs ski school.
Also, next to the euroesqui is a small private slope where the children can do sledging.
Hope you have a great time.
