Andorra in August

Hi,

Is it worth a 2.5 drive to visit Pas (or anywhere else in Andorra) for a day trip in August. We are not particularly interested in skiing.

Thanks.

Hi Zenmaster

If you like fab scenery and driving twisty mountain roads, then I would definitely drive up to Andorra in the summer (I did this by motorbike 10 years ago, and again by motorbike through the Pyrenees - tho not Andorra, about 4 years ago)

It%26#39;s unlikely there will be snow in August, so It%26#39;s a good thing you don%26#39;t care for skiing!

Pas is not a particularly %26#39;exciting%26#39; town, but in most of the major Andorran settlements now there are shops where you can buy all sorts of great quality %26#39;stuff%26#39; at reasonable prices in this Tax Free haven, so if you want anything specific, and going by car, this makes it very easy to have a shopping spree (if you like that sort of thing!)

Hope this helps you to make your decision

PS

oh yes, and did I say, the scenery is GREAT!

(so avoid the tunnels on your scenic drive!)
