travelling with Inghams from UK????

Hi,

After a bit of info about when inghams dish out the lift passes please?

Just booked for andorra to arrive end of Jan 2010 (I%26#39;m really really really excited!!)

I understand that the transfer from Toulouse is about 3 to 4 hours. Just wondering if the reps hand out the lift passes (that we%26#39;ve already pre-booked) on the coach whilst transferring? or if we have to go to a welcome meeting to collect them.

We%26#39;ve also booked ski hire with inghams - if you anyone has any info about where and when we can get that I%26#39;d really appreciate it!!

(bit of a ski dummy to be honest!!)

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Many thanks

You%26#39;ll get you passes at the welcome meeting, ski hire will be near to you accomodation, you should be able to get your kit on the evening of your arrival.Most of the ski hire places are an ok standard.

do you know when the welcome meeting usually takes place?

|||

In my experience it%26#39;s been early evening. If you don%26#39;t want to go you could always make an alternative arrangement with the rep%26#39; though.

The welcome meeting and ski hire etc will depend on the time you arrive. ie if you don%26#39;t get there till late in the evening it will be in the morning.

|||

The welcome metting will be in the evening of your arrival.

The Inghams flights all leave the UK on Sunday mornings.

|||

All Andorra ski flights are on a sunday, as ski school begins monday. No lessons on sat.

We don%26#39;t always go to welcome meetings as been to Soldeu many times.We have often been given our liftpasses on the coach on the way to resort, with vouchers for ski hire.

The shop you use depends where you are staying.

We have been with Inghams, Neilson, Thompson, Chrystal,and First Choice, and they all seem to operate in the same way.

The welcome meeting is useful to find out about apres ski activities, as well as ski and resort info.

The transfer should be under 3 hours to Pas.

Hi, last year we travelled with Inghams to Pas and they give us the Lift Passes on the transfer coach, this give us more time to collect the ski hire when we arrived in resort. One thing i would recommend with your ski equipment is store it on the piste rather than the hotel it costs about 20€ but this saves you carrying it to and from the hotel everyday. We used the Ski and board storage beside Pas 83 restaurant, it was excellent. Also for cheap beer and the best nightlife check out Paddy%26#39;s Bar. It is an excellent Bar. You will have an excellent time!!

Regarding storing equipment on the slopes, it depends which resort you are in, and where your accomm is situated.

Lockers at the top of the gondola, on the slopes, at Soldeu cost 95 euros for 6 days, so very expensive. Lockers by the gondola station at street level are cheaper, about 50/60 euros(for 4 people).Most of the hotels are only a short walk to the gondola, and many have their own lockers.
