Private Boarding lessons.

Have been skiing in Soldeu for many years so know the Grand Valira very well, but shock, horror- one of our adult members wants to learn snowboarding.

Question is- do enough adults do snowboard school, or is it better to book a private instructor? If we book a package with the tour operator including area pass and equipment, the lessons work out free, so a good deal.

When our kids started boarding, we booked them into snowboard school, but they only did half the week as they learned quickly, and there was no class to move up to, as not enough people of that level having lessons. I know there are only about 25 board instructors in the resort.

Also he doesn%26#39;t want to spend the time going up and down the same slope, all week.

How much would private lessons be, and would it be all on one day, or spread over the week like ski school?
