I have only been once in August and on the day we arrived there was a terrible storm - rivers of water running down the street. The rest of the time was pleasantly warm (not hot) and not a cloud in the sky.
Don%26#39;t forget the Languedoc, over the bourder in France, claims an average of 300 days of sun each year.

Yes, it%26#39;s hot but count on a few huge thunderstorms in the late afternoon

On the other hand... last year in the third week of August we found it quite cool!
So you had better be ready for anything!
